    • Francis Cabildo is the director of worship at Our Savior Parish and USC Caruso Catholic Center. Francis has been in church ministry for almost 30 years and has served as a parish youth minister, music minister, and high school campus minister. He has also served with NET Ministries, Life Teen, Inc. and has led music for youth and young adult conferences and retreats. Francis has a B.A. in theology from Catholic Distance University. He and his wife Nicole are raising five amazing boys! AMDG!
    • Mike Patin uses energy, humor and stories to affirm God's goodness and presence among us while inviting others (and himself) to take the "next step" in our journey with God.

      Mike has worked in ministry settings since 1984, first as a high school teacher and coach, and then in diocesan ministry for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Since 2003, he has worked full time as a speaker and “faith horticulturist.”

      He has been a featured speaker numerous times at the following national events:

      • National Catholic Educational Association Convention
      • Los Angeles Religious Education Congress/Youth Day
      • National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry
      • National Catholic Youth Conference
      • Notre Dame Vision

      Mike has published two books: A Standing Invitation, and This Was Not in the Brochure: Lessons from Work, Life and Ministry.

    • Emily Wilson Hussem is a speaker, YouTuber, author, wife and mom who shares her faith online and travels the world sharing her witness of faith at conferences and events across the globe. Her YouTube has over 130,000 subscribers and tens of millions of views. She writes, speaks, and creates videos on femininity, faith, and relationships, and her books, videos, and talks have inspired and encouraged people of all ages.
       
    • Dr. Ansel Augustine is the Director of the Office of Black Catholic Ministries for the Archdiocese of New Orleans.  He is the former Executive Director of Cultural Diversity and Outreach for the Archdiocese of Washington. Previously he served as the Associate Director/Coordinator of Black Youth & Young Adult Ministry for the CYO Youth & Young Adult Ministry Office. He is also on the Faculty of the Institute for Black Catholic Studies at Xavier University of Louisiana, Graduate Theological Foundation, and Loyola University New Orleans’ Institute for Ministry. Dr. Augustine has also served as a Campus Minister at Xavier University of Louisiana, Loyola University New Orleans, and St. John’s University in Queens, NY.  Ansel has served on the board of directors for the National Catholic Young Adult Ministry Association (NCYAMA) and the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM).  He began his career in ministry over 20 years ago when he became the youth minister at his home parish of St. Peter Claver in the Treme area of New Orleans, which he helped to rebuild following hurricane Katrina. He is an Emmy Nominated producer for the documentary, Black Faith Matters.  He has presented workshops and keynotes around the country and has written various pieces related to ministry including The African American Catholic Youth Bible and, the Pulitzer Prize nominated, Leveling the Praying Field:  Can the Church we Love, Love us Back?. Ansel has worked in prison ministry for over 25 years in various capacities. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Knights of Columbus, the Knights of Peter Claver, and the Wild Tchoupitoulas (Black Masking) Mardi Gras Indians.  He is also an Associate Member of the Sisters of the Holy Family in New Orleans, LA.     • Noelle Garcia is a Catholic recording artist, speaker, and podcaster. Noelle has shared her witness all over the country and appeared in Augustine Institute's "The Search" and will be the co-host for their new launch of Symbolon, a series for those considering becoming Catholic.  She has a Masters of Theological Studies and has worked in ministry for twenty years. Noelle is the Director for Programs for EQSaints and currently lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and six children. 
    • Chris Padgett is a popular speaker, musician, and author who has traveled the world sharing about the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. He is a convert to Catholicism and currently lives in Central New York with his loving wife and 9 children. 
    • Joel Stepanek has been actively and passionately involved in ministry for over 15 years. What began as a simple internship in a parish youth ministry office evolved into an incredible adventure that led him on numerous middle school lock-ins, high school retreats, parish missions, and ultimately to meet his wife, Colleen.
       
      Joel is the Chief Operating Officer at the National Eucharist Congress and is a sought after speaker who has traveled across the world speaking to groups of all sizes, ages, and vocations. Joel is the author of several books, including  “Beginning Well: Seven Spiritual Practices for the First Year of Almost Anything,” “Chasing Humility: 8 Ways to Shape a Christian Heart,” “XY: An Authentic Masculine Identity,” “True North: A Roadmap for Discernment,” “Getting More Out of Confession,”and “The Greatest Job on Earth: The Seven Virtues of an Awesome Youth Minister.” He is a co-author of “The 99,” an evangelization program from Ascension.
       
      Joel holds a Master of Arts degree in religious education with an emphasis in youth and young adult ministry from Fordham University in New York City and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University-Global. Joel is an avid “Spartan”-racer, marathon runner, enjoys cooking and gardening, and loves spending time with his wife and three children, Elijah Daniel, Sophia Grace, and Micah James.
